Desert Water Agency is partnering with the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) to construct monitoring wells in several locations in our service area. These wells will provide valuable information on groundwater basin levels, water quality, and the condition of the underground aquifer.

Finding and fixing leaks can add up to big savings! Desert Water Agency surveys its distribution system for leaks to reduce water loss, but customers play a vital role in helping increase water efficiency.

The groundwater beneath our feet makes up about 99 percent of the Coachella Valley’s domestic water supply. This benefits all valley residents, including Desert Water Agency customers. At DWA, our team works diligently to protect this important resource, today and for the future.
