The Draft 2027 Mission Creek Subbasin Alternative Plan Update is available for public review and comment through 5 p.m. on November 18, 2026.

Community members, agencies, organizations, and other interested parties are encouraged to review the draft plan and submit comments before the document is finalized and submitted to the California Department of Water Resources.

The Mission Creek Subbasin Management Committee, consisting of Coachella Valley Water District, Desert Water Agency, and Mission Springs Water District, prepared the Draft 2027 Alternative Plan Update to evaluate groundwater conditions, update technical analyses, and support continued sustainable groundwater management within the subbasin.
