The Draft 2027 Indio Subbasin Alternative Plan Update is available for public review and comment through 5 p.m. on November 18, 2026.

Community members, agencies, organizations, and other interested parties are encouraged to review the draft plan and submit comments before the document is finalized and submitted to the California Department of Water Resources.

The Draft 2027 Alternative Plan Update incorporates updated groundwater monitoring data, technical analyses, and modeling results to help assess and guide long-term groundwater management within the Indio Subbasin.
