Desert Water Agency is installing new pipelines in select areas across the city. Many of the pipelines being replaced date back to the mid-1900s and have had significant leak problems.
Pipelines are being replaced in three areas with anticipated completion in mid-November:
- COMPLETED (except final paving) – Cottonwood Road, Chaparral Road, Via Miraleste between Vista Chino and Chuckwalla, Chuckwalla Road between Via Miraleste and Chaparral Road (map area 1)
- MINOR WORK REMAINING – Ramon Road between El Cielo Road and Calle Santa Cruz (map area 2)
- 9/10/18 START – Francis Drive between Indian Canyon and Starr Road, Racquet Club Road between Indian Canyon and Via Miraleste, Starr Road between Racquet Club Road and Francis Drive, Laurel Circle, Sycamore Circle, Desert Willow Circle and Desert Holly Circle (map area 3)
