A Letter to Our Customers

Often our customers see new construction throughout the area and wonder if there will be enough water for all the new residents. We are pleased to tell you there will be plenty so long as we continue work together to support drought-tolerant landscaping and the use of recycled water for recreational areas.

Our conservation message is well represented through our Conservation Gardens at Palm Springs Desert Museum. We are also sponsoring the new wellness park being developed in partnership with Desert Healthcare District, the City of Palm Springs and Palm Springs Unified School District.

Every year we bring more recycled wastewater on line - and that saves our well water for drinking and personal use. For example - We're proud to announce that Palm Springs High School that has started using recycled water to irrigate its athletic fields.

Log on to www.dwa.org and check out our Fill It at the Tap bottle program. Find out how your organization may qualify for fun and free reusable sports water bottles.

Be sure and check out the tables and definitions in the 2003 Annual Report. We think you'll be as pleased as we are to see how our water continues to meet or exceed US Environmental Protection Agency and California Department of Health Services guidelines.

Our respectful use of water is working for us and future desert generations.
