2012 Rate Adjustment Information
Desert Water Agency approved a rate adjustment in June 2012 following an in-depth study of our finances. The increase goes into effect August 1, 2012.
DWA distributed a Proposition 218 notice regarding the increase in October 2010 following an extensive rate study. That rate study included a model to compare cost of service to rates. The model was used to calculate the 2012 rate adjustment.

Customers will be notified of the adjustment through a bill insert starting June 27, 2012.

DWA held a series of public workshops for customers in 2010 to explain rate setting and the need for an increase. Below are the presentations from those workshops:
