Management
Management is responsible for the implementation of the Desert Water Agency
Board's policies, and the efficient performance of all Agency services.
Managment oversees the activity and performance of all Agency deparments.
Engineering-Operations
Engineering-Operations is responsible for planning and implementing new and future services,
capital improvements, facility replacements, systems operation, electrial power
generation and services, water treatment, quality and storage, and power
facility maintenance.
Accounting
Accounting Department is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable,
water bill payment processing, payroll, purchasing, employee benefits, capital
asset management, budgeting, financial forecasting, inventory, customer
inquiries, collections, and risk control.
Customer Service
Customer Service is responsible for water meter reading, taking and responding to
customer inquiries, and collections
Information Systems
Information Systems is responsible for the generation of billings and all the Agency computer
applications.
Administrative Assistants
The Administrative Assistants Department assists the Board of Directors, Management, and
Department heads, and is responsible for document preparation, paper and data
managment, customer service records, and other related duties.
Construction
The Construction Department is responsible for the installation and maintenance of
water facilities, wastewater collection, and reclaimed water facilities,
meters, and cross connection prevention programs. Construction also oversees the
maintenance of the Agency's vehicles, equipment fleet, any after-hour
emergencies, and handles all Dig Alerts.
Facilities & Safety Officer
Facilities & Safty Officer is responsible for the administration of the Agency's safety, programs, and the oversight of the Agencies building maintenance.
Human
Resources
Human Resources is responsible for functions accociated with hiring, salary
surveys, benefit oversight, and other related personnel matters.
